THE PEAK OF PERFECTION

Thank you for visiting Cabezon Roofing! Every roofing contractor says that they are different but how? Cabezon Roofing New Mexico is made up of a partnership of two guys that have over 25 years of commercial and residential roofing. We have the technical experience to install the best roof or roof replacement you need at a price that beats the competition. That’s why Jerome and Randy started Cabezon in the first place. Both of us come from large corporate roofing businesses here in New Mexico that we think they have priced roofing out of most people’s ability to pay.

That’s right, we refuse to charge 20-30% more just because we can! Your roof covers everything important in your life and we won’t take advantage of you in your time of need. This doesn’t mean that we install a ‘cheap’ roof. Every roof that we install is top quality, built to last and comes with a warranty backed by GAF, North America’s Largest Roofing Manufacturer for both the installation quality and material durability. We offer shingles for pitched roofs and TPO for flat roofs. Metal roofs are also available.

If you are dealing with insurance on your roof, you’ve landed in the right place. We are well experienced at working with all insurance companies to make certain you get every benefit from your policy.

Minimum Qualities for a Roofing Contractor

Insurance for both Workers Compensation and Commercial Liability.

Never hire a contractor that doesn’t have these coverages. This insurance is very expensive for roofers and the first thing that will be cut to save them money.

Roofing License.

One of the resources that a customer has is to contact the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department if there is a problem. If the contractor isn’t licensed, you won’t have this resource.

License Bond.

This is required in New Mexico.

Permit, every roof installation or replacement must have a permit.

If your roofer says that a permit isn’t required, maybe they don’t know or have a license because you must be licensed to get a permit. You could save some money using an unlicensed roofer or you could lose a lot of money if problems occur. This especially goes for them being insured also. Non permitted work can also show up when you go to sell your property and ‘cloud’ the title.

Warranty for The Work.

Remember that your roof was expensive and that not getting a valid warranty would be like buying a new car without a warranty.

Experience.

Anyone can put a sign on their truck and charge to install home improvements. Feel free to ask for references if you are ready to choose your contractor.

Certifications from Manufacturers.

GAF issues Master Elite and Master Select Certifications to only the contractors that they back warranties for instance.

Pictures of recent projects.

Contractors should always take before and after photos of their projects and have them available on request. This is also a great way to see the process.
